Southwest Ireland Full in 2024 – Go Northwest!
Unfortunately the post-pandemic demand for golf travel to Ireland has not abated. Tee-time availability in southwest Ireland for 2024 is not a pretty picture. Already, as we approach the end of 2023, it is extremely difficult to organise any sort of acceptable itinerary to southwest Ireland.
There is however availability at the Eastern courses. This is due in part to vastly reduced visitor capacity at Royal County Down.
2024 offers the superb opportunity to explore some of Ireland’s best links courses in the Northwest region. In the case of Ballyliffin’s two courses two of the best links courses in Ireland.
The tables below show a snapshot of the number of complete times (i.e. for 4 golfers) available on Ballybunion Old, Tralee and Lahinch in that order. These are the only premier southwest courses with online availability. Waterville and Old Head are private clubs and do not make their timesheets publiclly available.
Remember that the last tee-times (if available) are likely to be 7:00, 7:12, 7:24 etc.
